Cary, Robert Wayne
CARY, ROBERT WAYNE, age 45, of Birmingham, passed away on Monday, the 19th of May 2008. Robert is survived by his wife, Lisa Turley Cary; daughter, Tara Lynn; son, Robert James "RJ"; mother, Naomi Ruth Cary; father, Bob Cary (Anne); sister, Cynthia (Bryan) Wilkerson; brother, David (Kim) Cary; grandmother, Marnette Cary; his nephews, Grant Wilkerson and Spencer Cary; and many other friends and family. Robert was a graduate of Homewood High School and UAB. He was proud to be a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. Funeral Services will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning on Friday, the 23rd of May at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood with burial to follow at Forest Crest Cemetery. Reverend Ronald McKeever will officiate. In lieu of usual remembrances, memorials honoring Robert Wayne Cary may be directed to a charity of your choice. Services are under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel (879-3401) located at 1800 Oxmoor Road in Homewood. He was my North, my South, my East and West, My working week and my Sunday rest, My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song; I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.
